Skills Booster Course – Transition to Sixth Form

Tutor2u is a website used mainly for social science sixth form subjects.  They offer free skills booster courses including a Transition to Sixth form online course.  A free user account has to be created to access it and it takes 3 to 10 hours and includes reflective learning and managing projects.

Most students aged 16-19 will apply for a Surrey LINK bus card to qualify for reduced price bus fares or the 16-17 Saver Rail card.

Some of our Sixth Form students have used this scheme to use a school coach or minibus to travel to our school.

Buy a spare seat on school transport – Surrey County Council

The Surrey County Council student fare card scheme for 2026/7 normally opens on 1st August and students are advised to apply by 22 August to ensure that the card is received at the start of term.
