What will students study at Key Stage 5?
Year 12: Students build confident communication around society, family, education and culture while consolidating grammar and extending vocabulary. They study one literary text/film and practice spontaneous speaking, listening and translation using authentic sources.
Year 13: Themes expand to politics, multiculturalism and contemporary issues; students complete a second set text/film and research and present an Individual Research Project for the speaking exam, refining essay writing and advanced translation.

What are the expectations of my child in this subject?
