What will students study at Key Stage 4?
Year 10: Business in the real world, enterprise/entrepreneurship, operations and human resources are introduced; learners consider how external influences shape decisions and write concise case‑based analyses.
Year 11: Marketing and finance, strategy and decision‑making under uncertainty follow; students interpret data, evaluate options and justify recommendations with evidence.
What do assessments test?
- AO1: Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of business concepts and issues
- AO2: Apply knowledge and understanding to business contexts
- AO3/AO4: Analyse and evaluate business information and decisions
What are the expectations of my child in this subject?
Bring full equipment, participate actively, complete homework on time, and use retrieval practice and past questions regularly. Keep notes organised and act on feedback promptly.
