Student Voice

Student voice is a key component of daily life at Oxted School, and we passionately believe in developing the values of ‘respect and responsibility’. A key part of this is providing the opportunity for the student body to have a voice that is listened to and to influence the direction of the school.

Each Year Group from across the school have Student Leaders who not only support the work of the Year Team but are also able to discuss all elements of school life, from rewards and consequences to school uniforms.

The JLT (Junior Leadership Team) meet with the Principal on a regular basis which helps to ensure that there is a strong link between the student body and the Senior Leadership Team.

The impact of student Year Leadership and JLT is wide-reaching, and we are looking to develop it further.
