Anti-Bullying

At our school, everyone has the right to feel safe, respected, and included. Bullying of any kind is not tolerated here. We work together to create a community where kindness, understanding, and responsibility are at the heart of everything we do.


💬 What Is Bullying?

Bullying is behaviour that hurts someone else, physically or emotionally.
It is usually repeated and happens when someone uses their power to make another person feel upset, frightened, or isolated.

Bullying can include:

💢 Physical Bullying

  • Pushing, hitting, kicking
  • Taking or damaging someone’s belongings

🗣️ Verbal Bullying

  • Name‑calling
  • Teasing or making threats
  • Racist, sexist, or homophobic comments

🧩 Social (Indirect) Bullying

  • Leaving people out on purpose
  • Spreading rumours
  • Encouraging others to exclude someone

💻 Cyberbullying

  • Unkind or threatening messages
  • Posting hurtful content
  • Sharing photos/videos without permission

🧒 If You Are Being Bullied

You should:

  • Tell a teacher, parent, or trusted adult
  • Keep a note of what happened
  • Stay with friends or near adults
  • Avoid responding with anger or aggression
  • Report online bullying to a teacher straight away

Remember: You are not alone and it’s not your fault.


👀 If You See Someone Being Bullied

You can help by:

  • Telling an adult immediately
  • Supporting the person being bullied
  • Refusing to join in
  • Being kind, even small actions make a big difference

By standing up for others, you make our school stronger.

When bullying is reported, the school will:

  • Listen carefully and take concerns seriously
  • Speak to everyone involved
  • Support the person who has been bullied
  • Work with students to resolve the situation
  • Take appropriate action in line with school policy
