Physical Education
Our PE curriculum aims to inspire all students to develop a lifelong enjoyment of physical activity and sport. We provide a diverse and engaging programme that builds physical skills, confidence, and a strong understanding of the body and movement.
At KS3, students are taught through our Hands, Head, Heart learning objectives, which focus on developing physical competence (Hands), tactical and theoretical understanding (Head), and personal qualities such as teamwork, resilience and respect (Heart).
Through a broad range of activities, students learn leadership, collaboration, and determination while making clear progress across the year. We are committed to supporting every student to achieve their personal best. By offering appropriate pathways and examination options, we ensure all students are matched to opportunities where they can succeed and thrive. Our ultimate goal is to equip students with the knowledge and habits needed for a healthy, active, and fulfilling life.
