Learning Support and SEND

SEND Information and Reports

Welcome to the Oxted School Inclusion information page. At Oxted, we value the individuality of every student and are committed to ensuring that all young people can access a broad, ambitious and inclusive education. When additional support is needed, we work closely with families, students and professionals to understand each child’s needs and identify the most effective strategies to help them thrive.

Students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) may require tailored provision to fully access the curriculum, and we strive to ensure that these students achieve outcomes at least in line with their peers. Our dedicated team of teachers, specialist staff and support assistants work collaboratively with subject departments to deliver high‑quality inclusive practice across the school.

We also work in partnership with external agencies, including Speech and Language services, Educational Psychology and other specialist providers, to ensure appropriate assessments and interventions are put in place when required.

We are always available to discuss your child’s needs, and we encourage families to engage with school events, communication and review processes. Strong relationships between home and school are central to ensuring a positive experience for every young person.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact a member of the SEND team. We look forward to working together to ensure your child has a happy, successful and fulfilling time at Oxted School.

Who you need to contact if you have query, any feedback or complaint relating to your child:

  • SENDCo: Mrs P Waller

We monitor the emails daily and will use this as our method of contact for all Inclusion queries.
