Law

Intent

A-Level Law is a two-year course developed to help students explore concepts and theories of law and how laws are made and applied alongside substantive areas of law.

The course also covers the purpose of law and how the law balances conflicting interests. Students will gain an understanding of the national and international laws that govern our behaviour, the relationship between law and politics and the consequences of not following laws. The course also examines the personnel within the legal system and training routes into a legal career.
