Physics
Intent
A Level Physics is a mixture of highly conceptual thinking and very practical applications. Students have the opportunity to think about abstract ideas such as fields, then look at the world around them and see how those ideas can be applied to advance science, engineering and understanding.
Learning to think like a physicist will help students develop the skills to get to the root of any problem and draw connections that are not obvious to others. Physics won’t give all the answers, but it will teach students how to ask the right questions.
If you have an inquiring mind, an ability to solve problems in a creative way and a desire to find out more about the Universe we inhabit, then A Level Physics would be an excellent choice for you.
