Forensic Science

Intent

This specialised course is offered to provide an alternative to the more traditional A Level route. Taught over two years, it results in the student gaining a Diploma in Forensic and Criminal Science, which is equivalent to 1.5 A Levels.

Forensic Science is a fun and interesting way of learning about scientific procedures and covers a range of different investigative techniques.

Students studying this subject develop significant logical thinking and problem-solving skills in order to address a specific question. This course can lead to careers as diverse as policing and nursing.
