World Book Day

World Book DayWorld Book Day - Thursday 3 March 2016

Following the success of last year's celebration of World Book Day, this year students will be allowed to join in with the staff by dressing up as their favourite character from children's literature.

There were some really amazing efforts made by staff last year, and it would be fantastic to see if even more staff and students from across School could join in this year.

You can come as character from a classic or modern tale, or short story. It could be a character you remember from stories in early childhood, or someone more contemporary, but it must be a character from children's literature. Characters from films (that did not originate from a novel) don't count!  This does not mean that costumes should be purchased especially for the day; it would be wonderful to see how imaginatively students can tackle the challenge of recreating famous characters without incurring costs.

Please note that if students are not in costume, they will be expected to be in school uniform as usual.
