Head and Deputy Head Girl and Boy 2014-15

Meet Oxted School’s Head Boy, Head Girl and Deputies for the 2014-15 academic year.

We are excited and honoured to have been selected as Head Boy, Girl and Deputies for the upcoming school year. We all feel extremely privileged and overwhelmed that out of all the amazing candidates, we have been awarded these positions.

Chris Zabilowicz – Head Boy
As Head Boy, I am humbled to have been chosen to represent the school. I am currently studying Physics, Mathematics, History and Geography with a desire to read Law in the UK, or Political Science in America; I would like this to lead to a career as a politician or lawyer. As Head Boy I would like to introduce more support and promotion for overseas higher education opportunities and look forward to working with students, staff and parents in the near future.

Amy Miller – Head Girl
I am absolutely overjoyed to have been appointed as Head Girl, as Oxted School has been exceptional in supporting me over the last six years and shaped the person I am now. I have been provided with a multitude of opportunities and I hope I can return this dedication and experience. I am studying for A Levels in Mathematics, Psychology and Theatre Studies and am considering going on to study Mathematics at university or looking into various apprenticeships. I am the theatrical member of the group and have enjoyed being involved with the school shows.

David Goldney – Deputy Head Boy
Becoming the next Deputy Head Boy is something I am extremely proud of. I am excited about working with younger students and hope to make Oxted School even more inclusive. Currently, I am studying Economics, Maths and Geography with a view to study Economics at university.

Kate Mesher – Deputy Head Girl
Being Deputy Head Girl is a huge honour, and I look forward to working with both staff and students in driving the school forward. I am currently studying English Literature, History, Classical Civilisations and Philosophy and Ethics, and I hope to read Ancient or Modern History at university. I am also passionate about reading and studying literature.

We honestly believe that Oxted School provides a fantastic foundation to thrive both academically and personally and we are grateful for the welcoming, inspiring and fun environment that Oxted School has provided. We would like to emphasise that it is our job to provide connection between the students’ views and Senior Leadership Team and will make the upmost effort to ensure this happens.

To all the parents, staff and students, we wish the very best for this coming year.

Chris Zabilowicz, Amy Miller, David Goldney and Kate Mesher.
